    EXETER AND NORWICH ELECTIONS

Elections are taking place in both of these cities on 9 September. Please come along to help the parties win back key marginals from Tories and Lib Dems

Please also check out Membersnet for latest campaigning dates and locations

OTHER BY-ELECTION CAMPAIGNS

Chadwell by-election, Redbridge, London
Well done to former Progress staffer Wes Streeting on his Chadwell by-election win, holding this Labour seat from the former Lib Dem councillor who was bounced into third place

Progress were out to lend a hand. Best of luck to Wes and Redbridge Labour party, and well done too to Louise Couling in the Goresbrook by-election, Barking

Progress have also been out in Frognal & Fitzjohns and Haverstock (both in Camden) and Tulse Hill, Lambeth for by-elections there. Unfortunately Labour did not win the former, but Ruth Ling was victorious in the latter.

Other good gains recently include:

Bilston North ward, Wolverhampton council, from the Conservatives (29 July 2010)

Great Cornard North ward, Babergh council, from the Conservatives  (22 July 2010)

Castle Green Ward, Leicester council, from the Greens

Riversway Ward, Preston council, from the Liberal Democrats

Bloxwich West Ward, Walsall council, from the Conservatives (all 15 July 2010)
